About
Clear instruction. Real improvement.
I joined the APA in 2017 as a true novice — I liked pool, but I didn’t have much knowledge or skill. League play changed everything. Competing regularly gave me structure, pressure, and purpose, and it turned a casual interest into something I genuinely love.
Along the way, I was fortunate to learn from a lot of mentors. Over time, I grew into their equal — and in a few cases, I even surpassed them. That experience shaped how I think about improvement: progress is real, but it’s rarely accidental. It comes from fundamentals, good feedback, and repeatable practice.
In late 2025, I became a PBIA Certified Instructor. My goal isn’t just to teach — it’s to keep earning the right to teach. I believe that becoming a better instructor means becoming a better student: testing ideas, refining technique, and staying honest about what actually works under pressure.
Right now, The Long Green is focused on the essentials: fundamentals, cue ball control, and basic knowledge taught clearly. Whether you’re brand new, getting back into the game, or trying to break through a plateau, you’ll find lessons designed to be practical, understandable, and useful at any skill level.
