Cue-Ball Position Drills
The cue-ball position drills builds cue-ball precision through disciplined angle, speed, and route control as you move around the pattern. It teaches you to plan two or three balls ahead, emphasizing how small positional mistakes can break the pattern and leave you without a natural route.
Line Drill
Place object balls in a straight line down the center of the table, evenly spaced. Starting with ball in hand, pocket all balls in any order without contacting another object ball. Bank and kick shots are allowed.

Cross Drill
Place object balls in a cross formation on one half of the table. The center ball should align with the middle diamond along the long rail and the second diamond from the corner along the head (or foot) string. Starting with ball in hand, pocket all balls in any order without contacting another object ball or using bank shots.
